Yep. Here's my story:

Called ebgames yesterday...they said they got 2 copies in only for their 15 preorders...Guess what? I WAS THE 3rd PERSON TO PREORDER SO I DIDN'T GET MINE!!

Sorry about the caps, just a bit ticked off. So they said to call tomorrow (which is today now). I call them up, the guy says

"Oh I don't know when we're going to get any, if at all. Everyone except you and 1 other guy cancelled their orders."

So you know what I said (not to him but myself). F*** this S***.
No CE game is worth this worth this level of aggravation. So I went to EBgames, cancelled my order, got my 5 bucks back, went to Futureshop and bought the regular copy from them.

No more games from EBgames ever. No more CE from ANET/NCsoft ever. Both have failed me in my eyes.

So now 12!!! days after the game came out, I finally get to play the Non-CE version of it, only 10 bucks more expensive with no T-shirt, which I could have got on the day of release! Thanks anet, you're too kind...

placed the order yesterday 5/9 and check on the status today, it said "shipped" no tracking number yet. I can't believe how fast Gamestop are!

I went into EB shop in Adelaide, Australia yesterday just to have a look and on the shelf was a copy of factions CE. So I grabbed a copy paid my $99 Aust and now I have, art book, stickers, soundtrack, mouse pad, mini pet, poster, map, and calendar. I love Eb

lots of people in my guild already got their CE's yesterday (including me) from different sources. One guildmate even ordered about 5 copies of CE (buying for different guildmates) and all 5 got shipped really fast.

I preordered the CE with EBStore, and I still haven't heard a word from them. I called twice, and a woman said they had some in the warehouse, and would ship one out. Still nothing

Here are ones I got from a thread in this forum.
Its the Euro version but the North American one looks the same but does not have the cloth pic.

One thing about the map is that its an older one.
All the cities are there but the icons for them are older and the outposts have the icons of the ch1 ones.

I e-mailed anet about it and they said talk to your retailer. I was pissed when mine didn't show up! At EB. It goes to show how much anet really cares!

They should have gotten me a CE. I made a preoder. it will be the last time I shop at EB! The store owner was kind enough to give me a disccount for my pain.

how in the hottest hell is Anet having any control over what an independent dealer does.

blame EB but leave Anet out of it.

blame the PUBLISHER for any shortages as it is out of Anets hands and control.

WOW, they STILL havent gotten the CE preorder to you? Sorry to hear that EB has yet again failed someone with their preorder. If you read my ordeal earlier in this thread, then i would suggest doing the same. I had made the preorder from Gamestop (Eb) quite a long time ago with constant promises of: "Oh, it will be here tomorrow", which is what they kept saying for a full week. Finally i cancelled my Preorder from them w/o bothering to find another source for my CE. I simply walked into Best Buy, ddint see the CE on shelf, asked if they had it, less than 30 seconds later i had a copy in my hands after being told they have MANY copies in stock for the last week now....

Never, ever ever trust Eb. Only thing that is relatively workable with them is online orders... and other stores of course. i hope you get your CE soon man!

Actually unless EB screwed up their order numbers to NCsoft at the start, it's actually NCsoft's fault. EB has the orders down but in the end it all comes down to whether NCsoft the PUBLISHER sends the right number to the retailer. So far it seems NCSoft only sent maybe 1-6 copies to EB retailers to at most fill half the preorders (so far the only data I have for the "half" statistic is one store got 1/2 copies). But I recall reading a posting by ANET something about a production error. So for now I'm assuming it's NCSoft's fault as EBgames hasn't let me down in the past. Remember to distinguish who's who in the business. Anet programmed the game. NCSoft publishes the game by making the CDs and Boxes and ships them. EBGames is the middleman who takes the orders.
